The following descriptions are presented as general guidelines of the duties and
responsibilities of those staff members assigned at each level. Staff members will be asked
to perform activities and duties which are much more specific based on their particular talents
and interests. In addition, individual assignments will be varied based on the particular
needs of the office, the current client needs, and the Firm's staff availability.
Because of these fluctuating conditions and the objective of maintaining an interesting
and challenging environment for all Firm members, staff members may, at times, be asked
to handle activities above their assigned position. At other times, because of training
needs, exposure to new client areas, or temporary shortages of staff, staff may be assigned
to work generally prescribed below their current level. The Firm tries to avoid these
conditions, but sometimes they cannot be helped.
Therefore, these position descriptions should be viewed as the principal areas of involvement
which the assigned staff member is capable of handling.
