We have formed a rural healthcare industry group within our Firm to devote time and resources to being experts in the rural healthcare industry. We work closely with clients to quantify the effect of expected audit adjustments on third-party reimbursements and monitor the status of the estimates, and assist in the successful resolution of reimbursement issues. Through our affiliation with Summit International Associates, we are able to offer you an even wider variety of services in the healthcare field. Management Association.Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reports In addition to performing the traditional CPA services, our Firm also has the resources to perform additional services such as preparation of cost reports for Medicaid and Medicare intermediaries. We therefore, have excellent resources in providing for the preparation of the cost reports, consultations on third-party cost reimbursement matters, including the preparation of appeals and assessments of the applicable regulations. We use the latest versions of KPMG Peat Marwick cost report software to enhance our ability to prepare a timely and accurate report. Through this service, we are in an excellent position to offer suggestions to the hospital, as to how they might enhance their reimbursement from intermediaries. We also have experience in preparing Idaho cost Reports. The cost report consultant we presently use in our Firm, has experience preparing Medicaid reports for two other Idaho hospitals. As we review adjustments proposed through the audit, we always asses the effect of the proposed adjustment on the cost report.
